During his tenure at Malcolm Grow, he led the integration of behavioral health services into seven primary care clinics, providing lower stigma and same-day access for an enrolled population of 80,000 beneficiaries. He led the three-month Air Force behavioral health response to the “9/11” Pentagon attack and led a psychological first aid team to the Dover Air Force Base Morgue for one month during the OIF invasion to provide psychological support to DoD Mortuary Affairs personnel. His efforts culminated in his receiving the John Flanagan USAF Senior Psychologist of the Year Award in 2003.
Wilson completed his clinical psychology residency and a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical health psychology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. Wilson received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and completed a master’s degree in psychology at Marywood University.
