The fall 2012 edition of the “Military TBI Case Management Quarterly Newsletter,” published by Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE), is now available on the DCoE website. The newsletter provides information and resources for military case managers and other providers who care for service members with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their families. It spotlights TBI case management excellence, identifying and sharing best practices across the military community.

In honor of “National Case Management Week,” recognized Oct. 14-20 to celebrate the contributions and commitments case managers make throughout the spectrum of health care, this edition recognizes 10 TBI case managers making a difference in the lives of wounded warriors and families they serve. Read highlights about each individual chosen to receive this special recognition.

The fall release also includes information on recent clinical guidance for providers to assess and manage dizziness symptoms associated with mild TBI, new military TBI case management resource guides, updates to the case management recertification process, as well as upcoming conferences and continuing education opportunities.

To read past newsletters, visit the “TBI Case Management” page on the DCoE website.
