Service members, veterans and their families often experience psychological health challenges associated with combat deployments. Whether a buddy, spouse, friend or co-worker— psychological awareness and education is everyone’s responsibility. This webinar will focus on the wellness tools available on afterdeployment.org.
Afterdeployment.org is a multi-faceted online resource containing educational and interactive modules targeting behavioral health concerns. The site’s resources are directed at service members and their families, veterans, and providers. Initially launched in August 2008, afterdeployment.org refreshed in March 2010 and added many new oerings.
Charles “Perry” Bosmajian, Jr., Ph.D., Project Manager and Subject Matter Expert with the Population and Prevention Programs (P3) Division of the National Center for Telehealth & Technology will discuss new and soon-to-be-released features on afterdeployment.org. Additional highlights include mobile technologies currently in development at T2. These applications will provide “hip-pocket” access to a range of wellness tools.
